Guidance in mindfulness meditation, breath work, and somatic therapy in the comfort of your home

Touch is one of the least explored, most biologically powerful tools available to a body under sustained strain.

Into Coherence is a modality rooted in affective touch, breath work, and guided meditation.

We provide a discreet, personalized somatic session for those who have mastered their industry and are ready to master their physiology, because health is the greatest of all wealth.

Sympathetic — Baseline Arrival Unregulated → Down-shifting → Regulating → Coherent
01 — The Case for Intervention

Chronic high-functioning stress is a killer.

A stressed professional working late on a laptop

Left unaddressed, sustained sympathetic activation elevates cortisol, disrupts sleep, and — over time — is linked to rising inflammatory load and measurable cognitive decline. This is a physiological state with a high cost, and one that can be shifted through consistent, intentional care.

Into Coherence exists for the mid-morning wall, the pre-board-meeting spike, the eleven p.m. mind that will not turn off. This methodology is made to be a continual intervention for the professional who desperately needs to relax before their body breaks down.

Why gentle, rhythmic touch reaches places direct pressure cannot.

Deep-tissue massage works on muscle and fascia. Into Coherence works on a different system entirely. The skin carries a specialized class of nerve fiber — C-tactile afferents — that respond to slow, light, stroking contact.

Unlike the fibers that report pressure or texture to the somatosensory cortex, C-tactile signals route through the posterior insula, a region tied to interoception and emotional processing rather than discriminative touch. In simpler terms, this class of touch is not built to tell the brain what it is feeling. It is built to tell the brain it is safe and can fully relax.

Researchers call this category affective touch — a term drawn from clinical and neuroscience literature. When it is delivered at its optimal pace, the resulting cascade is measurable: activation of the brain's reward circuitry, a release of endorphins and dopamine, a rise in oxytocin, and a documented shift toward parasympathetic — "rest and digest" — dominance. The pleasurable, almost hypnotic quality of the sensation is the mechanism doing its work.

On touch & the reward system
Scratching-induced pleasantness activates the striatum and midbrain — the brain's core reward circuitry — alongside the somatosensory cortex and insular cortex.
On C-tactile afferents
These fibers connect directly to brain regions governing emotional processing and social bonding, rather than purely sensory discrimination — the basis of "affective touch."
On breath & vagal tone
Thirty minutes of deep, paced breathing increased key heart-rate-variability markers by 21–46% in healthy participants within a single session.
On touch & cortisol
Therapeutic touch has been shown to reduce circulating cortisol by an average of roughly 31%, alongside increases in serotonin and dopamine.
On chronic under-regulation
Sustained sympathetic activation without adequate recovery is associated with elevated inflammatory markers and accelerated cognitive decline over time.

02 — The Method

Breath. Touch. Mindfulness.

01Descent

Every session opens seated with a guided mindfulness meditation and a breathing paced to parasympathetic dominance before touch begins.

02Contact

Rhythmic, precisely-paced stimulation across the body — what touch researchers term affective touch, delivered through a light, deliberate, nail-and-fingertip technique rather than hard pressure or body manipulation.

03Return

Aromatherapy is offered before a brief sound ceremony with singing bowls to close the session. This is where the session's gains consolidate, heart rate and breath settle to their new baseline.

03 — Who This Serves

Made for the high achievers who need to relax.

Elevated Baseline Cortisol

For executives whose resting stress markers stay high long after the meeting ends, and who carry that same stress home to the family. This practice helps regulate the nervous system to create change in mood, and physically reduces cortisol.

Decision Fatigue at the Top

For those whose judgment sharpens with rest and degrades under sustained load — where the cost of a foggy decision is measured in millions, and there is a lot to lose.

Sleep Debt That Compounds

For the person who hasn't had an uninterrupted night in years, and has begun to rely on stimulants and coffee to counteract fatigue.

Preventing Burnout

For executives who cannot find adequate deep rest and feel at their wits' end. Board visibility, investor confidence, and succession conversations don't allow for visible depletion. Recharge happens when the body is tended to and the mind is quieted.

From those who love us

A relaxing combination that mixes modern healing with ancient esoteric wisdom. Like entering heaven.

LG — The New York Times

I had suffered with insomnia for months and was about to burn out. The sessions helped me relax, and eventually learn to relax enough to fall asleep regularly. Really miraculous stuff.

KB — Anthropic

Like being a baby again. I felt so well taken care of. The work here is something special — the practitioners tailor the experience to you and listen. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone struggling or feeling alone and overwhelmed.

The Practitioners

Roxanne Nagarwalla

Roxanne

After burning out in tech, Roxanne has spent the last seven years in Asia studying Vipassana meditation from Theravada Buddhist monks and learning Qigong from 35th-generation Shaolin masters. She's a certified Yin Yoga teacher for releasing chronic tension and rigidity that collect in the body's connective tissue and fascia. Roxanne is also a practitioner of integrated Tantra as a way to unify the various parts of the self into wholeness.

Roxanne has worked with hundreds of clients to help them demystify the art of satisfaction, and relax into life. Her approach harnesses teachings from ancient contemplative traditions, transpersonal psychology, and somatic regulation.

She helps successful people find a different kind of inner richness that the material world cannot touch. Roxanne's work is to connect people to the joy of being alive and embody the belief that the more you love life, the more life loves you back.

Cristina Martelo

Cristina

Cristina has ten years of experience in mindfulness. She specializes in trauma-informed care, and nervous system regulation. Her work is informed by her thesis on mindfulness as a proactive approach to preventing depression and years spent supporting refugee communities in humanitarian settings.

From years of living with chronic stress, high cortisol, and burnout led her to explore the science of restoration, with a particular focus on the neuroscience of affective touch and its capacity to signal safety.

Today, Cristina brings together these practices with a deeply attuned presence to create an environment where the body can return to homeostasis.
